Door Ventilation Fans

Mould and mildew can grow in storerooms and sheds with poor airflow. That’s especially true when our Australian summer rolls around, and temperatures rise, creating the perfect breeding ground for bacterial growth.

Ventilation to enclosed rooms with no windows can be problematic. If a door is your only access point, providing power to an extractor fan can be cumbersome. That’s where RiteFlo’s self-propelled fans come in. They require no power. The ventilation fans work on changes in air pressure to propel the fan blades and to bring in that mildew combating fresh air.

  • No electricity or solar power required. The door fan is self-propelled through changes in air pressure.
  • Works with the slightest breeze
  • No risk of over-drying timber
  • Secure stainless-steel mesh externally
  • 2 styles: Modern or Heritage Cover Grill

I had four RiteFlo ventilation units installed in my children's bedrooms (two in each) about three months ago and I can definitely say that their rooms are no longer smelling musty or stuffy when you walk in. The most convenient feature of the unit is that the children can close it when it gets too cold during Winter and open it again if they need more fresh air. Opening and closing the unit is just a tug on the strings that hang off the unit (as per photo). As a mother, I feel good that my kids are breathing in fresh air every time they are in their rooms (even if their windows are closed). They look stylish in the bedrooms too, which is a bonus! I personally can recommend the product.

Door ventilation fan FAQ

Q: How do the door ventilation fans work?

RiteFlo ventilation fans are self-propelled. The blades rotate due to differences in air pressure on either side of the door. This ensures stale air doesn’t build up and no ongoing costs in the fan’s operations (as no electricity is required to power the fan.)

Q: Can RiteFlo fans be installed by laypersons?

Yes. RiteFlo fans are self-propelled and require no external power, but we’d still recommend employing a trades person.

Q: Do you provide home consultations?

Yes. If you’re in the Sydney metro region. We can come out to you to assess your needs and to recommend an appropriate product.
